Leasing Surges at Atlanta Apparel Before June 2021 Market

2,500+ lines will show Holiday, Autumn / Winter, Game Day and accessories,

June 9-12, 2021

 

The rapid recovery of the apparel industry is spurring an acceleration in showroom leasing for International Market Centers’ (IMC) Atlanta Apparel markets with nearly 50 new, expanded, relocated and renewed locations opening for the June Atlanta Apparel Market. The buying event features 2,500+ lines showing Holiday introductions, the continuation of Autumn/Winter ’21, Spring/Summer immediates, Game Day, accessories and more in showrooms June 9-12, 2021 and temporaries June 9-11, 2021 at AmericasMart® Atlanta.

 

“Showroom leasing has boomed since the start of the year,” said Caron Stover, IMC senior vice president, apparel. “Atlanta Apparel is keeping up its momentum with major updates to the permanent showroom collection. The energy of our first two markets of the year will be amplified in June by further expansion of Atlanta Apparel’s resources.”

Investment by New and Established Brands

Positive leasing activity has yielded updates throughout Atlanta Apparel’s permanent women’s contemporary, accessories, immediate resources and fine jewelry offerings with some 12 new showrooms: 7 Denim (women’s premium denim), Atelier New York (representing 90+ high-end women’s contemporary lines), The Boys Showroom (representing women’s accessories and apparel lines), Courtland Park (women’s luxury apparel), Grey Violet (cash & carry women’s contemporary), King Diamonds (fine jewelry), Madison Avenue (high-end women’s contemporary overstock), GLCHRST Jewelry & Supply (one-of-a-kind fine jewelry), My Choice (fine jewelry), Sara A Jewelers (fine jewelry), SB Jewelers (custom fine jewelry) and Shana Apparel (art-inspired women’s wear).

 

Some 25+ brands will present an international collection of luxury and contemporary women’s apparel, shoes and accessories brands in a shared space. Confirmed exhibitors are: Black Score (handprinted t-shirts from the United Kingdom), Cecilie Copenhagen (women’s apparel inspired by Keffiyeh scarves), Celia B (women’s contemporary from Spain), Cuoieria Fiorentina (leather handbags made in Italy), Daze Denim (sustainable denim), Del_duca (handbags handmade in Argentina), First + Ocean Agency (representing start-up fashion brands), Furious Fur (luxury vegan fur), Happy Sheep (knitwear), Holst and Lee (fashion jewelry and accessories), Judith & Charles (menswear-inspired women’s contemporary), Kasia (fine, custom and boutique jewelry), Kleid (dresses made in Colombia), Lasierra (fine jewelry handcrafted in Colombia), Marco (women’s shoes made in Italy), Mint & Rose (Mediterranean-inspired, artisan shoes and handbags), Montelliana 1965 (boots made in Italy), Nicholas (women’s contemporary), Paola Bernardi (knitwear made in Brazil), Saylor (women’s everyday contemporary), Sita Murt (women’s contemporary from Spain) and Zero Degrees Celsius (women’s contemporary).

 

Brands also are expanding their existing Atlanta Apparel spaces to meet increased buyer demand for new product. Three such expansions are Carole’s Collections (cash & carry women’s contemporary), Milk & Honey (representing 11 women’s contemporary lines) and Pretty Persuasions (jewelry and accessories).  Additionally, nine brands have renewed their commitments to Atlanta Apparel: 5 Seasons Showroom (representing 11 women’s contemporary lines), Chad McKinney (representing Joy Joy and Kerisma), Johnny Was Collection (women’s boho contemporary), KK Apparel & Accessories (representing 10 women’s apparel and accessories brands), Leib Associates (representing 12 women’s contemporary lines), Lori Veith (representing 21 women’s contemporary apparel, accessories and footwear lines), Style Consortium (representing 21 women’s apparel and accessories lines), Therapy by Lisa Adams (representing 12 women’s contemporary lines) and Yushi Moda (women’s contemporary sportswear).
