Atlanta Market and GC Buying Group Partner for Summer 2022 Market

ATLANTA – Leading culinary buying group GC will have a major presence at the Summer 2022 Atlanta Market with its 300+ retail members invited to participate in a new “Summer Series” with educational programming and an exclusive vendor expo during the July 12-18, 2022 buying event at AmericasMart Atlanta reports International Market Centers (IMC).

“We look forward to welcoming GC retailers for a rich and rewarding experience that augments the member programming they rely on for a competitive edge,” said Dorothy Belshaw, IMC executive vice president, chief customer and marketing officer. “Atlanta Market’s housewares advantage – unmatched product discovery opportunities and interactive culinary programming – are a perfect complement to GC’s summer offerings.”

GC’s Summer Series is designed to help gourmet and housewares retailers learn from experts to improve their businesses. The seminars, product demonstrations, networking opportunities and a vendor showcase will be held at the AmericasMart campus during Atlanta Market. Dates will be announced by GC in the coming weeks.

The vendor showcase and expo will include 100+ brands that are curated and endorsed by GC. In addition to existing Atlanta Market gift-oriented housewares, tabletop and specialty food exhibitors, the expo will bring more housewares, small electrics and gourmet kitchen tool brands to present new and relevant offerings to members.

“Atlanta Market and GC have a long history of collaboration to help independent retailers stay successful. Working together provides an unmistakable advantage for buying group members,” said Janis Johnson, founder and president of GC. “Membership in GC Buying Group allows retailers to source products that will make a difference in their business at a scale they may not achieve on their own. Exploring Atlanta Market together ensures finding the right products to invest in together.”

At Atlanta Market, some 475+ gourmet, housewares and tabletop lines are presented in showrooms on two dedicated floors of Building 2 with an additional 100+ gourmet, housewares and tabletop lines presented in five temporary exhibit categories:  Gourmet, Gourmet LUXE, Housewares, Tabletop & Entertaining and Tabletop LUXE. The Atlanta Market Demonstration Kitchen is the heart of the gourmet and housewares collection presenting live demonstrations from national and local chefs and tastemakers throughout the market week (the full list of events will be announced soon).
