Summer is almost here, and a brand new season of Shop the Show is just around the corner at AmericasMart! As a preview, we’ll be checking in with each of our talented influencers, including designer Anissa Zajac. Anissa is a blogger turned designer known for her fresh & minimal style, which highlights cozy layered textiles alongside rustic and often globally inspired accessories inside airy spaces.
Co-founded by married duo Anissa & Brian Zajac, House Seven Design + Build is an Indianapolis-based interior styling and remodeling company. House Seven began as a small blog--named after the purchase of their seventh house--on which Anissa shared “minimal, modern and rustic” home design and DIYs, which quickly gained a large following and launched her full-time design career. House Seven has been featured on The Today Show, as well as Domino magazine, Apartment Therapy, Huffington Post, HGTV Magazine and more.
We chatted with Anissa about where she gets her inspiration, as well as some tips on what styles and new materials this trendsetter will be scouting at market for 2019 and beyond. Read on for more from Anissa!

Dream Celebrity Collaboration: I would love to work with Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent because I love everything they do!
3 Must-haves for next season & beyond: Marble Antiqued brass Linen
3 Go-to colors for next season & beyond: Black Green Any shade of white
What’s new: Simplicity is the new luxury.
Upcoming trends she’s scouting at market: I’m really into vintage terracotta vessels right now. I love a large scale vessel filled with branches sitting alone on an island or table...so simple, but it makes a big visual impact!
