IMC Enables Buying for Q4 through Physical & Digital Platforms
ATLANTA / HIGH POINT / LAS VEGAS – (October 22, 2020) – International Market Centers (IMC) is facilitating omnichannel wholesale buying for the Q4 holiday season – whether in-person at its Fall Cash & Carry market (October 27-29 in Atlanta) or its Fall Sample Sale (November 11-13 in Las Vegas), or digitally through introduction of new “in-stock” filtering capabilities on its market websites and ShopZio, its B2B ecommerce platform powered by IMC_di (IMC’s new Digital Innovations division).
“The past 90 days have shown us that there is a major need for replenishment,” said Bob Maricich, IMC CEO. “With our immediate delivery markets in late October and mid-November and a digital B2B platform available 24/7, IMC offers the industry an omnichannel opportunity to source and shop in-stock merchandise before the holiday selling season.”
The Fall Cash & Carry market at AmericasMart Atlanta and the Fall Sample Sale at Las Vegas Market are in-person opportunities for retailers and designers to restock their inventory instantly for the holidays and beyond with products for immediate delivery and with no minimum orders. To date, nearly 250 showrooms and 50+ temporaries are confirmed for the Atlanta event and 50+ showrooms are expected to participate in the Las Vegas event.
For buyers unable to attend the markets, IMC_di’s legacy digital tools – ShopZio as well as Catalog Connexion, a library of interactive keyword-searchable exhibitor catalogs – enable buyers and designers to source and shop. A new “in-stock” filter provides easy access to nearly 60 brands, collectively with 120,000 SKUs noted by vendors as available for immediate shipment, including A & B Home; Arcadia; Authentic Models; Brunelli; Design Imports; etu’Home; GKI/Bethlehem Lighting; Jackson Pottery; Kalaty Rug Corp.; Karastan; La Lavande; Olivia Riegel; Pokoloko; Saddlemans; Southern Attitude; Swahili African Modern; Tula; Two Lumps of Sugar; and Vertuu Design Inc.
“As we see increased emphasis on successful sourcing strategies incorporating both physical and digital markets, IMC is well-positioned to offer omnichannel buying solutions that connect buyers and sellers –anytime and everywhere – they wish,” said Maricich. “In February 2021, when IMC_di (IMC’s Digital Innovations division) launches JuniperMKT, a new digital marketplace connecting buyers and sellers – at market, online and on the road – it will position IMC as the premier omnichannel sales platform for the gift, home and apparel industries.”
The Fall Cash & Carry market is Tuesday, October 27 – Thursday, October 29, 2020, with showrooms open 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily, and temporaries open 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday and 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Thursday.
