KEY PLAYERS IN BRIDAL, PROM MAKE MAJOR COMMITMENT TO SPECIAL OCCASION FIVE TIMES A YEAR

—Jovani, Alyce now permanent anchors, Precious Formals signs up for another five—

ATLANTA, March 2007—As a national prom destination and major resource for bridal, pageant and special occasion, AmericasMart Atlanta is home to key players within the industry and features the individual categories year around. Most recently, two of these names made a commitment to AmericasMart and the special occasion industry. Jovani and Alyce Designs now have permanent spaces on the 10th floor totaling 7,200 square-feet. Additionally, another flagship exhibitor, Precious Formals, which occupies 6,200 square-feet, renewed its lease for five more years.

“The decision to sign a long-term lease in a permanent showroom is a reflection of AmericasMart’s dedication to our industry in supporting its growth with a year-around focus,” says Abraham Maslavi, owner of Jovani, a major manufacture of prom, pageant, bridal and special occasion. “The entire industry will benefit from the mutual commitment from manufactures and AmericasMart.”

Alyce Designs which also manufactures prom, pageant, bridal and special occasion understands the importance of being visible in its own space every market. “Each market has a unique energy and retailer following, and we don’t want to miss one opportunity to reach new customers specific to our niche,” says Rene Hamm, managing director of Alyce Designs. “The best way to do this is to be right here every market.”

AmericasMart features components of special occasion throughout the year. August is the National Prom Market followed by bridal in October, pageant in January and bridal again in April. Each market retailers will discover emerging designers along with the established, leading manufactures like Precious Formals which specializes in prom, pageant and special occasion.
