LFI, the world’s largest annual commercial and architectural lighting tradeshow and conference, recently hired Ben Coleman as tradeshow manager and promoted Elly McCloud to Executive Director of Conference and Attendee Relations. This is a direct reflection of LFI’s success in 2006 and continued global growth.
Prior to joining LFI, Coleman was account manager for Single Market Events focusing on RSVP, a UK-based international tradeshow for the special occasion and events industry. He was responsible for exhibitor communications and retention, as well as sourcing new product areas to expand and diversify the show. Additionally, he contributed to marketing, design, show features, sponsorships and the content of show conferences and seminars. As tradeshow manager for LFI, Coleman is responsible for exhibitor communications, booth sales, show logistics and directing on-site production.
McCloud has worked with LFI since 2004 implementing and managing its internationally recognized educational conference and LFI Institutes, as well as developing and expanding the attendee relations program. As the Executive Director of Conference and Attendee Relations she responsible for all attendee- and conference- related matters. McCloud also oversees the New Product Showcase & Awards Ceremony, the industry’s largest multi-media presentation and recognition of innovative lighting products. McCloud has both domestic and international tradeshow background, including previous work experience with German tradeshow producer Messe Frankfurt.
