ALPHA TEMPORARIES RETURN TO FORMER HOME IN JANUARY 2007

—New location positions Market for continued expansion—

ATLANTA, December 2006—Positioned for unprecedented growth and development, the Market Temporaries of AmericasMart ALPHA®—the cutting-edge show featuring influential and innovative collections in active lifestyle, board sports, casual lifestyle, high-end designer and contemporary streetwear—are moving back down to the 1st floor Exhibit Hall of AmericasMart 3. They will debut during ALPHA, January 28—30, 2007.

Originally housed in the Exhibit Hall, the temporaries relocated to the second floor in 2004. Consistent exhibitor growth created the need for a dynamic space and a repositioning of the booths. The Exhibit Hall lends itself to a more retailer-friendly environment with wider aisles that are more conducive to buyers’ needs.

More than 600 lines will be represented within this space—a direct result of ALPHA’s consistent increase in exhibitor numbers each Market. New lines showcased at ALPHA in January include Artful Dodger, Famous Stars and Straps, CLH, Creative Minds and Savage Art. Additionally, ALPHA’s permanent location on floor 12 of AmericasMart 3 will be home to new exhibitors Parish and Timberland.

A Sunday evening party in the Exhibit Hall will kick off the opening of the January ALPHA Market and act as a grand opening for its new location.

AMERICASMART ALPHA features both high-end contemporary apparel and accessories. Established in 2004, it is held four times a year at AMERICASMART and draws more than 1,500 attendees and exhibitors each market.
