ATLANTA, March 2006—Delivering breaking lines and new designs to retailer buyers of men’s, young men’s, and street wear apparel, AMERICASMART ALPHASM presents the latest in men’s fashion at a three-day buying event, April 2-4, 2006, only at AMERICASMART-ATLANTA.
More than 500 premium lines will be represented by permanent and temporary exhibitors. Among them: Baby Phat, Rocawear, Artful Dodger, Akademiks, Enyce, Ecko, Sean John, Timerland, Chaps, Scarface, Azzure Denim, Frye Boots, and RJ Colt Footwear.
“ALPHA has grown beyond our imagination—up roughly 270 percent over last year from a vendor standpoint,” says Chuck Corvi, project manager for AMERICASMART ALPHASM. “One of the big inroads has been in the fashion/men’s suit area and fashion apparel for men. And with the inclusion of lines like Frye Boots, Timberland Footwear and Rockport Footwear, the shoe business is exploding.”
Attendance is also growing. At its January 2006 market, ALPHASM was up 230 percent in retailer attendees, Corvis continues.
The AMERICASMART ALPHASM menswear market is held four times in 2006: in January, April, June and October.
Also at the April show, buyers will be treated to an exciting lineup of events—including the ALPHASM Game Room & Lounge, where attendees can play a variety of sports games at their leisure; large screen TVs to view sports events, complimentary food and beverage, a Sunday night networking bash with a guest appearance by Ms. Georgia Zayna Waddell; and the creation of an at-Market 8’x 20’ mural by nationally-renowned artist Richard Johnson of Miskeen Originals.
