ATLANTA, October 2006—A fresh look and new beginnings for many have transitioned AMERICASMART’s CHILDREN’S WORLDSM into a large clothing and juvenile product playground for big buyers. Spurred by a strengthening children’s apparel industry and an increase in cross-merchandising, AMERICASMART’s Children’s World will open a new phase of permanent showrooms and introduce temporary showrooms with a distinctive name this October.
During the Atlanta Women’s & Children’s Market® October 19—22, 2006, AMERICASMART will unveil Phase II of AMERICASMART’s Children’s World and launch Curiosity Corner, the newest baby and juvenile temporary product offering, featuring dozens of new exhibitors. Spanning 26,000 square feet of new showroom facilities, the product mix is comprised of children’s apparel and accessories, maternity, juvenile product, plush gifts, bedding and furniture.
Retailers will experience the new face of AMERICASMART’s Children’s World on the 13th floor with showroom expansions, relocations and new company names, including My Blankee and Leigh International. Tickle Toes/Vintage Kids, Auraluz, The Klein Group, 3 Martha’s/Oopsy Daisy Fine Art for Kids and Berry Sams/Seasonal Concepts are among the showrooms celebrating expansions and relocations.
Additionally, as part of its evolution, the AMERICASMART’s Children’s World Buyer Hospitality Lounge is newly redecorated with three times the space of its former location. AMERICASMART will recognize its momentum with a ribbon cutting ceremony and Grand Opening celebration of Phase II during Market.
