International Arts, a leading designer and manufacturer of custom framed art and wall décor headquartered in Norcross, Georgia is expanding nationally. The company announced the appointments of BJ Ferber & Associates representing the Southwestern markets; Helen Fraser and Associates representing the upper Midwest; Martha Frisch representing the Mid West; The Boxer Connection representing New York; Bob Stuart representing the Northeast markets with Michael Boyd and Associates (MBA) representing the Southeast. According to International Arts President & CEO, Mark Darnell, “We are currently negotiating with sales representatives to cover the West Coast markets which should be completed by the July summer markets.”
For 30 years International Arts has provided the Southeast markets with commercial framing catering specifically to the interior design trade. Mark Darnell and Shawn Leary, formerly with Phoenix Galleries, assumed ownership of International Arts in July 2004 with the vision to restructure the company into an industry leader. According to Darnell, “We are positioning International Arts to fulfill an emerging class of commercial and residential interior designers that are yearning for something unique and different while emphasizing value, quality and diversity with a quick lead-time.”
“I have worked with Mark and Shawn in the past.” says Michael Boyd of MBA. “Mark gets the product out the door timely and efficiently, while Shawn is unquestionably the best customer care person I have ever been around. When you consider quality, value, price points, diversity, and depth, this is the art line the industry has been waiting for. We are very excited to be apart of the International Arts team.”
Designers that frequent the Michael Boyd showroom can take full advantage of International Arts custom framing center finding a vast array of prints, matting and moulding samples. This affords designers the ability to customize the framed art from the showroom or completely design artwork from scratch all at wholesale prices. “The convenience of the custom framing center is one of the first at AmericasMart”, says Darnell. “We feel this is a powerful tool lending exemplary service to our clients while strengthening our commitment to the designer trade.”
International Arts covers all of the bases with their good, better, best price selection when it comes to wholesale framed art. Valu-Artz (VA) is their economy priced framed art line with wholesale prices starting at $20 to their mid-range line, International Arts (IA), with wholesale prices ranging from $28 to $148 to their elegant high-end line, Patrick-Allen (PA) with wholesale prices starting at $158. Besides framed artwork, International Arts also offers an extensive selection of mirrors, metal art and its flagship products to include ArtzScapes™ Outdoor Art, Grand Artz™ Oversized art and Southern Shooters, fine art photography. International Arts will debut these products and more in the Michael Boyd and Associates showroom in Atlanta at the July 2006 Summer Market.
