Am I qualified for a Press Badge?

All members of the working press must register and present valid credentials. Please note: AmericasMart® reserves the right to refuse anyone press credentials at any time and for any reason.

Who qualifies for a PRESS badge at AmericasMart?

Editorial members of approved print and broadcast outlets.

Who does not qualify for a PRESS badge?

All non-editorial employees and/or representatives, including but not limited to marketing (public relations, creative services, etc.) and publishing/sales (publishers, advertising, etc.) Also included are writers and publishers of personal or corporate newsletters and family members of legitimate media. Book authors’ eligibility will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

What credentials are required to obtain a press badge and admission to AmericasMart?

Qualified media representatives (as defined above) must present a valid business card (with individual’s name and title, and the name of an approved media outlet), a valid outlet-issued credentials or the masthead from an approved media outlet with individual’s name and title listed.

Freelance writers and photographers must present a letter of assignment from an approved outlet to be granted a PRESS badge. Freelance writers or columnists not on an assignment must provide a copy of an industry-relevant bylined article, published within the past six months in an approved media outlet.

Electronic media representatives, including editors of websites, must present proof of an existing site with relevant editorial content and proof of circulation.
