Admission Policies
The AmericasMart, Atlanta is a wholesale facility open to the trade only. To enter, you must be affiliated with a business that resells product represented in the Mart.
The following credentials are required for admittance:
Wholesale & Retail Business
All of the Following:
- Current retail business license or federal resale tax certificate
- Imprinted business check
- Corporate credit card or proof of merchant credit card ID #
- Photo ID or passport (one per buyer)
- Personalized business ID (business card or cancelled payroll check) – One per buyer required
- Internet businesses must provide proof of search engine with website and proof of URL registration
Plus One of the Following:
- White or yellow page business phone listing
- Current year executed sales tax return or sales tax coupon book
- Lease agreement for commercial space
- Photo of retail store front with company signage clearly displayed
- Current invoices showing you purchase Mart related merchandise in quantity for resale
To register additional buyers, they will need photo identification and either a business card with their name imprinted on it or a cancelled payroll check. If you can not verify their employment, they will have to attend the Market as a guest.
International Wholesale/Retail Businesses
All of the following:
- Personalized business ID (business card or cancelled payroll check) – One per buyer required
Photo ID or passport (one per buyer)
- Value added tax certificate or current retail business license or proof of affiliation with Chamber of Commerce of retail organization
Plus one of the following:
- Lease agreement for commercial space
- Photo of retail store front with company signage clearly displayed
To register additional buyers, they will need photo identification and either a business card with their name imprinted on it or a cancelled payroll check.
Interior Designers/Architects/Landscape Architects
- Professional membership card for admittance with recognized professional affiliation
- Photo ID
- Or must qualify business as stated in above requirements (wholesale/retail businesses)
Guest Policy
- Cash only non-refundable guest fee of $20 per badge during all gift/rug shows including IDS.
- A limit of 2 guest badges per business, to those essential to your business at the Mart & photo ID required. A limit of 2 guests per business with no guest fee during all Women’s, Children’s, and Men’s apparel shows - photo I.D. required.
Children Policy
- Other than infants, as provided below, children under 12 years of age are not admitted on showroom or exhibit hall floors for any reason. No exceptions can be made.
- Infants under the age of one year may enter with an adult. However, no strollers will be allowed. Infants must be carried in a baby carrier or sling while on the premises, and the parent or adult guardian will be required to sign a release waiving any liability on the part of AmericasMart in case of injury. The parent must show a copy of the release each time he or she returns with the infant.
- Children between the ages of 12-18 are considered “guests” and will not be issued a Buyer’s badge. Proof of age is required for admission.
- This policy applies to Buyers, to their guests, and to the guests of Exhibitors and of AmericasMart personnel. Exhibitors are encouraged to consult building Rules and Regulations for policies addressing admission of their own children.
Non-exhibiting manufacturers policy
- Domestic and international non-exhibiting manufacturers must be affiliated with a business that manufactures products represented in the Marts. Rug related Non-Exhibiting Manufacturers are not permitted entrance to AmericasMart area rug shows without permission of AmericasMart leasing. Solicitation of product and product samples and taking photographs are not permitted at AmericasMart.
Management reserves the right to permanently expel anyone disregarding the above rules.

Carts
New Baggage Cart Policy - Effective January 2008
Your comfort, safety and mobility at Market are important to us.
Starting in January 2008, buyers are allowed to bring rolling briefcases and rolling laptop cases smaller than 12” (H) X 16” (W) X 5” (D). Please note that these size restrictions do not apply to exhibitors.
Why are we adopting this new policy? To help provide a safe and accessible environment for you and all who do business here - and to help prevent escalator service interruptions resulting from rolling vehicle damage.
What can you do to help? To keep everyone moving, please pick up your rolling briefcases on escalators. Rolling carts and rolling luggage larger than the cases described above will need to be left at our Luggage Check stations conveniently located throughout our campus.
The new policy will be in effect during January, March, July and September Gift and Home Furnishings Markets and during all Apparel Markets, but does not apply during our spring and fall Immediate Delivery Shows.

Corporate Friday
Corporate Friday is extended as a courtesy to businesses to take advantage of AmericasMart Apparel’s wholesale shopping. Please keep in mind the following:
- Corporate Friday attendees may gain access to AmericasMart Apparel (Building 3) with participating Apparel permanent showrooms only.
- Corporate Friday is not offered during market or the day before a Market starts.
- Corporate Friday Guests are only permitted in showrooms in Building Three with “Samples” signs displayed from 9:00am to 5:30p.m. Registration for Corporate Friday ends at 4:30.
- NO GUESTS OR CHILDREN ALLOWED. NO EXCEPTIONS
- In order to obtain a Corporate Friday courtesy pass, participants must adhere to:
a. Participant must be 18 years or older.
b. A business ID or a payroll stub with your name (card or picture Identification)
c. Photo ID - Corporate Friday dates are subject to change as Market Dates change.
