John C. Portman, Jr.

John C. Portman, Jr. has served as chairman of the board, chief executive officer, and a director of AmericasMart® since founding the company in 1957. Mr. Portman was also the principal of the Portman Companies for more than forty years. He has served as the chairman of Portman Properties, Inc. and the managing general partner of Portman Holdings since its formation.
