Goldberg, Karl

Mr. Goldberg joined the AmericasMart Advisory Board in 2000 and became Chairman of the Board in 2002. Prior to serving on the AmericasMart Advisory Board, he served on the California Gift Show Advisory Board for seven years, 4 as Chairman. In addition, he served 2 years on the New York Stationery Show Advisory Board.

Mr. Goldberg is President of Somerset Marketing Group, Inc., a company that provides, business development, marketing and distribution support to companies in the Stationery and Gift Industry. Prior to starting Somerset Marketing Group in 2002, he was Senior Vice President of Portal Publications for 34 years. During his career, Mr. Goldberg successfully marketed product to all retail and mass-market distribution channels, domestically and internationally, within the Stationery & Gift industry.

Mr. Goldberg is a Board Director of the Friends of Marin Center, a non-profit organization in Marin County, California that provides under privileged children, the handicapped and the elderly with the opportunity to experience a theatrical performance. He is also a Board Director of the Marin Yacht Club. Mr. Goldberg earned his Business Degree at Brooklyn College.
